For over 45 years, Chappell graced the stages of Las Vegas, captivating audiences as the iconic Evil Queen alongside Siegfried & Roy. Beyond her decades of performances, she has dedicated herself to supporting hundreds of charitable efforts throughout the Southern Nevada community.

“Lynette has been an incredible friend to our Foundation, generously lending her time, her voice, and her heart to our mission,” said Vicki Bertin, President & CEO of Foundation Assisting Seniors. “We’re honored to shine a spotlight on her generosity, and we can’t think of anyone more deserving of this year’s honor at our inaugural Illuminate the Night gala.”

In addition to Chappell, Governor Joe Lombardo and UNLV’s Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Chris Heavey are confirmed to be in attendance.

Illuminate the Night will feature an elegant cocktail garden reception and candlelit dinner under the stars, and silent and live auctions to raise awareness of Foundation Assisting Seniors’ mission to support older adults throughout the Las Vegas Valley by removing the administrative, insurance, and financial barriers that often stand between older adults and the care they need.

Proceeds raised will directly support the Foundation Assisting Seniors and its free programming, which includes a Medical Equipment Distribution Program with a ready inventory of durable medical equipment (DME), provided to clients at no cost, and the “HowRU” Daily Wellness Check program which provides daily wellness calls to seniors throughout the community.

Individual gala tickets are priced at $500, sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $5,000, and advertising opportunities begin at $1,500. To purchase tickets or learn more, visit http://www.foundationassistingseniors.org/illuminate-the-night/.

About Foundation Assisting Seniors
Foundation Assisting Seniors (FAS) was founded in 2002 as a small community initiative designed to assist Las Vegas valley seniors and veterans aged 50 and above in remaining safe, independent, and supported in their homes by removing the administrative, insurance, and financial barriers that often stand between older adults and the care they need. Now, the organization has grown to be a trusted, rapid-response, volunteer-run community resource providing free durable medical equipment (*DME), wellness support, and daily wellness check services and supports safe hospital discharges, reducing fall risk, and helping older adults age in place with dignity.

FAS operates two main programs: a medical equipment distribution program and the “HowRU” Daily Wellness Check program, where volunteers check on vulnerable seniors and veterans every day. Since the program’s launch in 2016, it has led to 15 documented life-saving interventions. Through its medical equipment distribution program, FAS maintains a ready inventory of DME, including wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, transport chairs, hospital beds, and other mobility and safety equipment, as well as incontinence supplies, all provided to clients at no cost.

Foundation Assisting Seniors is based in Henderson but supports residents throughout the valley. For more information or to receive services, visit http://www.foundationassistingseniors.org/ or call (725) 244-4200.
