Local Officials and community members recognized NTI’s contribution to workforce development in the region with ribbon-cutting, and proclamations from Houston and Harris County leaders

Houston – National Technical Institute (NTI), a state-approved trade school with campuses in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Houston offering fast-track training in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, welcomed the community to the grand opening of its second Houston campus in the South Belt–Ellington area on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025. The event marked a major expansion to meet Houston’s growing demand for skilled trades professionals amid a construction boom.

Rebecca Stout, NTI Southeast Houston Campus Director, welcomed attendees, followed by remarks from NTI CEO Ryan Woodward. Officials recognized NTI’s contribution to workforce development, and attendees toured the new campus to experience hands-on training in action.
