Las Vegas Natural History Museum To Showcase Local Artists in New Harmony In Diversity Community Exhibition
On display April 1-30, exhibition will feature local artwork highlighting connections and experiences with nature
Las Vegas – The Las Vegas Natural History Museum invites the public to celebrate Las Vegas’ vibrant culture and natural beauty with the opening of its new Harmony In Diversity community exhibition, on display April 1-30. Featuring works by local artists, the exhibition is designed to showcase the diverse talents of local artists and their artwork highlighting connections and experiences with nature.
“When people think of Las Vegas, they tend to only think of the glitz and glamour of the Strip,” said Grace Njoroge, Education Director of Las Vegas Natural History Museum. “Harmony In Diversity challenges this perception by highlighting Las Vegas’ natural beauty. The work submitted by local artists shows how nature unites our community in unexpected ways.”
In addition to the exhibition, the museum will host Harmony & Diversity Day on April 19 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This special one-day event includes 50% off admission and features guest artists performing readings, music, dance, and art demonstrations that focus on diverse perspectives and celebrate the cultures represented in Vegas locals. Cultural crafts will also be hosted throughout the museum. RSVPs are encouraged. To purchase tickets for Harmony & Diversity Day, visit https://www.lvnhm.org/event-details/harmony-in-diversity-day.
Supported in part by the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Harmony In Diversity exhibition is included with museum admission or membership, and will be on display Tuesday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
Located north of Cashman Center at 900 Las Vegas Blvd N., the museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. General admission tickets are priced at $14 per adult, $12 for students, seniors and military personnel, and $7 for children ages 3-11 and can be purchased online at http://www.lvnhm.org or at the door.
